Built after the unlucky LZ7, but also this airship had a short live.

Caught by a strong crosswind while being walked out of its hangar and damaged beyond repair on 16 May 1911

LZ8 on top of it’s hangar at Dusseldorf. The 8 occupants had to climb a long way down but they were all OK.
